"Spooky" Offers for Halloween Break

Children's Halloween Midterm Discos

Halloween Pumpkin Carving CompetitionA fancy dress "Halloween" themed disco for resident children will take place on Wednesday, 31st October at the Clonakilty Park Hotel. You might not recognise all the staff in the hotel, as they too will be taking part in the Halloween fancy dress, nothing too scary hopefully!   There will also be a kiddies disco every evening during the midterm break, this is upstairs in our function room with lots of spooky Halloween hits.  Live music for the adults will follow in Oscar's Bar.

Kiddies Pumpkin Carving & Fancy Dress

Halloween Midterm Take part in our Pumpkin Carving, followed by a kiddies disco on Wednesday, 31st October, Halloween night. Mums and Dads can lend a hand with cleaning out the yucky insides!  Extra points are awarded to all children who wear their scariest costume, but don't worry if you forget your costume, it is optional!  Download our full programm of activities for the midterm week.

teen_room_action.jpg (leisure 4)Remember all our children's activities will be operating over the entire Halloween midterm break at the Quality Hotel Clonakilty. This includes the Childrens camp, the Jungle Gym, Teen Zone and Creche and nightly kiddies discos.  There will also be a free evening activity with a visit from the hotel mascot, Doogle the dog and facepainting or balloon modelling.  For further details on these, please visit our Children's Facilities page. 



Samhain 18 Festival

Halloween Samhain Festival ClonakiltyThis year Geata Arts and the Samhain18 festival have teamed up with the Clonakilty Arts Festival to bring an amazing festival to Clonakilty town from Thursday 1st of November to Sunday 4th of November. There will be talks, music, drama, and events all routed around Irish tradition, mythology or folklore. The highlight will be our spectacular street parade on Sunday evening, bringing alive the most haunting and spectacular creatures and figures of Irish mythology.  For more information visit their facebook page.
